How They Remember You

Rascall Flatts has put out some solid songs in the past and this album wasn't too bad and it wasn't super good either, it was just alright. There were a couple songs that were easy to listen to and something I would want to come on over the car speakers but I didn't enjoy most of the album I just thought the lyrics were off and it sounded like it was missing something. The album was close to being good but not really quite there yet.

Overall I'd give the album a 5.5/10

Songs I enjoyed from the album

  1. Feel It In The Morning

  2. Looking Back

  3. Through The Year

I Should Probably Go To Bed - Dan + Shay

I should probably go to bed - Dan + Shay

Dan + Shay have become one of the biggest names in country music and for good reason, they've consistently put out well written and produced songs. Although this song doesn't really sound like country music but more of a pop song, I still enjoyed the song overall. More of a slow song which isn't such a bad thing.

Overall I'd give the song a solid 6.7/10

Mama's Cooking - James Barker Band

Mama's Cooking - James Barker Band

A little nostalgia song from the James Barker Band, Guess you can tell what the songs about from the title. The song was good, it has an authentic sound with pronounced banjo and drums. The melody was good and a little catchy, it's definitely worth a second listen.

Overall I'd give the song a 7.2/10

Bad Mother Trucker - Eric Church

Bad Mother Trucker - Eric Church

This song is just a stereotypical country song I guess you could say. When people say I hate country music because all they talk about is girls and trucks they're talking about this song. Eric Church has had some unreal songs in the past but then he had to put out this gem which is kind of odd. This is the song you'd listen to at the bar when you're 9 beers deep, the beer goggles are on and your ears don't work.

Overall I'd give the song a 2/10
